Ship type and general description

Architectural and structural type of vessel – steel, single-hulled, welded, single-screw with an Adjustable Pitch Propeller (shaft in the deadwood pipe), with one steering device behind the propeller (rudder blade with flap, connected to the steering machine through the rudder stock), with the machinery compartment located at the aft, with a cofferdam and forepeak, living superstructure made of steel and a wheelhouse made of an aluminum-magnesium alloy in the aft part of the vessel (the wheelhouse is connected to the steel navigation deck through striped and sheet material of the Triclad type), with a transom aft and a bulbous bow, with two cargo holds, with a double bottom and double sides (the double bottom and double side are designed for transporting heavy loads with a permissible load of 15 t/m2), with pontoon-type hatch covers with a permissible load on them of 1.75 t/m2. Each hold is equipped with one movable grain partition. The vessel is equipped with a CO2 system for extinguishing fires in its own cargo holds. The vessel has an extensive ballast system.

Area and operating conditions

Unrestricted sailing area. Operating conditions – regular navigation in non-freezing seas.
