Design of the Ship Power Plant Laboratory for Odessa National Maritime Academy completed

Engineers of Design Bureau IMT Design Bureau LLC have completed development of the extended conceptual design of the “SHIP POWER PLANT” laboratory. As a result of this work all necessary documents and drawings of the project were developed, in addition, a three-dimensional model of the future training complex was created and a presentation booklet layout was developed. During the work the suppliers of the main equipment for the power plant simulator were identified and the main equipment was selected. During the training sessions in the laboratory “SHIP POWER PLANT” cadets of Odessa National Maritime Academy will be able to get such practical work skills:

• preparation and adjustment of ship power plant mechanisms for start-up;
• start-up, maintenance and shutdown of mechanisms and systems;
• operation of the ship’s power plant in modes;
• control and diagnostics of technical means;
• preventive maintenance and repair of technical means;
• thermal tests of the ship power plant.
