Start of design of the Ship Power Plant Laboratory for Odessa National Maritime Academy

Design Bureau IMT Ltd. has started to develop an extended conceptual design of the laboratory “VESSEL ENERGY INSTALLATION” for Odessa National Maritime Academy. The laboratory is designed to provide cadets with practical skills of machine watchkeeping, management, maintenance, repair of equipment and systems of ship’s power plant in accordance with the requirements of the IMO Convention – Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW) 78/95.

  3. Systems serving the engines: fuel, oil, cooling, compressed air, ventilation, gas lope.
  4. Auxiliary equipment serving systems.
  5. Engine Control Room (ECR) of engines and systems.
  6. Main switchboard (MSB).
  7. Repair shop.
  8. Lifting facilities for engine repair and maintenance.
