Architectural and structural type of the vessel – steel, single-hulled, welded, twin-screw (2 full-turn propeller steering columns with adjustable pitch propeller in the nozzle), diesel-powered, single-deck, with redundant over-water side, with engine room located in the middle part of the vessel, with round-view wheelhouse. The stern towing tack, stern winch, stern towing fairlead, stern and inboard bittens and bow towing tack provide towing of ships and floating structures in the open sea and in the harbour. The vessel is equipped with fire fighting system for other vessels and harbour facilities, rescue equipment.

The vessel is equipped with a system for fighting fires on other vessels and port facilities, and with rescue equipment.

Towing hook, stern winch, stern and side bollards provide towing of ships and floating structures in the open sea. The bow double-drum winch and bow double-chock bollard provide for ships guiding (trolling) at harbor and roadstead, as well as for escorting ships. The vessel is equipped with a system for fire fighting on other vessels and port facilities, salvage equipment and oil product collection equipment.
