Main characteristics of the vessel
Ship type and general description

The architectural and construction type of the vessel is steel, single-hulled, welded, twin-screwed (2 full-rotary propeller-steering columns), diesel-powered, single-decked, with an excessive freeboard, aft engine room placement, and a panoramic view wheelhouse. The towing hook, aft winch, and side bitts ensure the towing of ships and floating structures in the open sea. The bow winch and bow bitt provide ship guiding (berthing) at anchorages and in ports. The vessel is equipped with a fire-fighting system for other ships and port structures. In the aft part of the deck, provisions are made for installing 2 standard 20 feet  containers on container fittings. The weight of each loaded container does not exceed 10 tons.

Purpose of the ship
  • towing of ships and floating structures;
  • ship guiding in ports and berthing;
  • sailing in icy conditions (ice class notation ICE 1A);
  • firefighting on other ships and port facilities;
  • transportation of 2 standard 20 feet containers.
